Well hello there travlpod fans!
We are now in Las Vegas - the place where anything goes... There is so much water around considering its right in the middle of the desert. It has been lovely and hot... 25 degress everyday. there are christmas decorations up all all over the place and christmas music playig in all the shops and casinos but it doesn't feel real to us. The food is great here. everywhere has all you can eat buffets and i never thought id say this but its so nice not to be eating fried food!! If anyone decides to go the best place is the Sahara hotel, really good value for money. Haven't done much gambling - have left it to the professionals, but we did play computer poker. i put $1.00 in and got $4.75 back and then i walked away so i never lost anything!!
There are loads of cool things here to see. The venetian hotel is one of the best sights with its indoor canal system complete with gondolas! Whats even more strange is that the canal is on the top floor of the hotel. We stayed at the Stratosphere hotel and got free entry to the tower. There are 3 rides on top of the tower, the first 2 start at just under 1000 feet up in the air. one of the rides shoots you 21 feet off the top of the building. i have never been so frightened in all my life. i wasd crying on the ride. dare devil paraic loved it tho! have got some pics of the height of the tower so you can all see how up we were!
