Karen made us pancakes to set us off on our journey, but our journey didn't seem to start as soon as we had planned. The morning flew by because we were catching up on emails, blogging and of course the beloved facebook. Karen suggested we go out on their speedboat and see the Bay. We obviously jumped at the chance. The 6 of us got on board and travelled down the inland waterway, in awe of all the big houses on the waterfront.

It was rougher than expected and we were absolutely soaked. All part of the fun. They took us to a small island with a beautiful sandy beach. This is where they will be picnicing on xmas day, it really is a gorgeous spot.

An hour in the boat soaked to the skin, back to the house. We then packed up our things to hit the road. A little later than expected, but that is what road trips are all about!

Nic drove for 2 1/2 hours to Noosa. Last hour was such a lovely drive, lush green trees and hills in the distance. Apparently there are over 100 roundabouts in Noosa, this made driving fun.

Parked in the caravan site and waited for the shower to pass so we could cook our barbie and enjoy a glass of wine.

Went into the town, expecting there to be a thumping night life (it is Saturday after all.) However there was only a few quiet bars, one of which we parked ourselves in for a cocktail.
