(Peter) Can I please get some beef?...
Since Hindis don't eat beef and a majority of the population in India are Hindu, beef is rare to come by. We've been in India for a little under 4 weeks, and I've yet to eat beef. At first, it wasn't too difficult, because all of the Indian dishes that we were eating were delicious.
But now, I'm ready. I need a plate of beef. I don't care if it's just plain ground beef or a steak from Denny's. To make things even worse, in Vietnam and in Cambodia, the beef dishes we had just consisted of thinly sliced beef in soup or with noodles. I've probably had less than 5 ounces of beef since I've been on this trip, and that isn't going to work for me much longer.
A note to Malaysians: "YOU BEST HIDE YOUR COWS. PETER'S HUNGRY!..."
