A great title that highlights the fact I am going RTW for a year.

so still here. Not much to report since yesterday. The plan was to go and watch some Thai boxing. Was a great plan, but sadly a number of factors got in the way: our haggling with the taxi driver did not go to plan, so we decided to make our own way there. This would have been fine were it not for the fact that we got took one wrong turn and walked for an hour in the wrong direction. So all in all it did not happen, and instead watched about 300 Thai people doing some sort of strange dance in the park!! Also did my first bit of haggling, and think I am quite good at it, even if I do say so myself. Got Karen a pair of shorts for less than half price, and continued with the haggling today when I negotiated a rucksack on Karens behalf. Seems I am good at helping Karen with the spending of her money, but have been unable to commit any of mine so far. plenty of time yet though.
One thing of note today was I had my first Maccie D's, which worked out less than half the price of the UK; total bargain if you ask me. Still not really too interested in experimenting with food, so am guessing I will continue with the fast food until i at least reach.............erm, the UK again in about a years time.
Not sure what tonight will hold, Karen wants to take in a show (not sure what sort yet, but fingers crossed), but then we are also semi planning on leaving for Cambodia tomorrow morning. Which will def not happen if I feel a bit poorly after excessive alcohol intake, we shall see, but I am guessing we will still be in Bangkok come tomorrow evening.
Still not sleeping too well..............finally fell asleep at 6 this morning, and only just managed to get out of bed at midday. Still, first proper bit of sleep i have had in about 4 days!! Still boiling over here; think today is the hottest day so far, has to be about 110. A bit of rain would break the day up nicely, but think that is looking unlikely at the moment.
OK, am off for a beer now, have not had one today yet, and fear I am starting to suffer withdrawal symptoms!!
