Today had to be washing day - no more clean undies left.  But over night I could hear the rain.  Still, it had to be done, and I put it in the machine before we went to the free Pan Cake breakfast put on by the caravan park.  We were able to chat to other folk in the park as well as to the owners, whilst we enjoyed our pancakes and tea/coffee.
So, the washing had to go into the dryer, as it was still raining, with the low clouds an indication that it was set in for the day.
After that, we set out to do one of the scenic drives, designed to get you off the main roads into the farming country behind, seeing the place.  This area has many many farms growing all manner of things.  West of Swan Hill we saw almonds, olives, pistachios, plum, peach, grapes and other things.  To the north of the highway were a number of properties with cattle.  During our drive, we read from the little book outlining not only what goes on here now, but a bit about the history of the various areas - it was a nice experience.
We came back to Swan Hill just in time to miss the passenger train arriving at the station, then back to the van for lunch, and now am writing this log.  As it is raining on and off still, I plan to process some photographs this afternoon, after I have loaded this up.
We move from here on Tuesday, and I may not get to load anymore up before we get home at the end of the week.
