This morning we headed off to the Botanical Gardens where there is a miniature railway which runs each 1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month - and guess what - today is the 1st Sunday!! We decided to take a ride to see where best to take photographs. The layout is quite extensive and well thought out - it runs between the Botanical Gardens and the Zoo, to the Riverina Museum (really just across a road). We saw one Steam loco which we had seen at the Diamond Valley railway (Eltham Park) only a few weeks back. We stayed there about 1 ½ hours and took photos - they had 2 steam engines running and 3 diesels. We left their and headed for the Antique Shops for a look - we had seen 3, but only one was open. Went to the visitors center to enquire and got a list, but all of them were either closed, or had disappeared.

Now we are back at the van having had lunch and I am about to head for the Internet Café, while Ted watches the Motogp we recorded last night.

Bye for the time being - I may get back on-line before we leave here, or maybe not. We expect to leave here for Narandera on Thursday.
