Funniest day!!!!!!!!

So we left Williams and followed the signs towards Los Angeles....although we weren't heading there just yet...but it still left us excited to see it sign posted.

The initial drive was quite scary....downhill a lot of the way with massive lorries (trucks) surrounding us. It didn’t help that today was insanely windy.....however, once we lost the lorries everything was fine!

Had a very fun moment in the car...as we were driving towards Seligman, two boys in a red Corvette overtook us and pulled in in front....i made Jess follow their every move to keep up with them because they looked rather attractive. Then they slowed down (assuming on purpose) so I told Jess that we needed to overtake them because they were doing it on purpose so she did and as we passed we all just smiled and laughed at each other like we knew we were doing the exact same thing the whole time! Haha. Then they decided to prove their manliness and sped off...but Jess and I didn’t want to break the law (as we’ve seen a few people being pulled over already) so we stayed back....our exit was coming up but turns out they were coming off the same exit which was really fun until they turned down a different road to us...they probably thought we were stalking them but oh well...it was fun while it lasted.

We headed for a town called Kingman, where we stopped for lunch in Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner. The place was super colourful and really welcoming. While Jess and I were waiting for our food we decided to play a trip based Hangman game...it left us giggling like crazy and ofcourse the waiter kept glancing at us because of it. He seemed really sweet and I think we put him in a good mood because everyone just seemed so happy (I’ve been known to have that effect on people before lol just kidding..well...kind of). Anyways the chef messed up one of our orders so Trevor, the waiter, came over to apologize and brought up the fact that we looked like we were having fun anyways! Which we were!

As we left Kingman and headed to Lake Havasu...the music was just so appropriate and fun and just got us in an even better mood than before! It made us really excited for Lake Havasu fun and Los Angeles!!

A cute little squirrel ran out into the road carrying a really big object in his mouth! It was so cute...luckily he made it to the other side of the road!

We also encountered a monster truck whilst driving...really huge! The truck was a normal size just stacked ontop of four mahoosive wheels...the wheels alone were like the size of an average car! It was insane...also..there was no ladder or anything to get into the truck....literally haven’t a clue how they got in that beast!

We arrived in Lake Havasu City earlier than we expected and checked into the hotel. We headed straight to the pool and bar and got ourselves some margaritas! At the bar we got talking to a few of the locals who were all really impressed with our trip and just wanted to hear all about it!

One lady, who use to live in LA, gave us some advice and told us that "when we are around the water holes watch out for the wildebeest" and she just kept repeating it! Lol she was so sweet but definitely appeared to be enjoying her beverage because every time we came back she seemed even merrier!

Every time we got drinks at the bar we ended up with extra drinks for free...so basically by the time Jess and I decided we wanted to go out we went to the room to get ready but found the bed and couldn’t get back out...we really wanted to go but literally there must have been some invisible chains bolting us to  the bed as there was no chance of us moving anywhere anytime fast....by 11:30pm we decided it was a failed mission and went to bed....

....two 21 year olds in one the famous Spring Break destinations...yeah we’re really cool!

To be fair...we over excited ourselves during the day and then the mix of alcohol and sun just didn’t do us favours....

Tomorrow is a new day so cross fingers we’ll prepare ourselves better lol!
