Massive fail AGAIN with Niagara Falls trip - we actually got up in time to go book it only to find that it was fully booked for the day Lol. typical! But we made our own way there thanks to GO Transit train and bus.

So crazy how many platforms they have just for trains....27!! Bit confusing trying to find our platform 9, especially when we followed the signs for 9 and somehow managed to end up on 10 justtt as the train was pulling in. Thankfully the train doors opened on both sides so people could enter from 9 and 10...very strange concept but good idea.

We managed to get off the bus two stops too late at Niagara. Kinda glad though as it meant we got to walk along the more scenic route to get to the falls instead of through the 'tacky city' as Ness calls it.

The water was so green, but like a pretty green and most of the houses looking over the river were so nice – big balconies, verandas, tree houses, and some with country style barns round the back.

Niagara Falls was amazing – i know what to expect of a waterfall but actually being there is just so different – cant describe it.

The Canadian falls (the one that curves round like a horse shoe) were the most beautiful falls by far! The falls create a mist and walking through it was so weird and really felt like it was raining when we got closer even though it wasn’t. Amazing how close you can get to the falls at the top!!

Strolled back to the coach station through one end of the rundown, almost desolate and eerie. But liked walking through it as it almost made us feel uneasy...

Pedram (Ness’ housemate) met us for dinner in Toronto to a gorgeous yummy Italian Grazies (I definitely ate too much!).

I’ve got use to feeling the subway beneath us when we’re eating in restaurants...funny sensation. Had a while till our coach to Chicago so we drove around downtown Toronto. We just LOVE the ‘big city lights’....couldn’t get over how amazing it all looked. Looking left or right at every junction, you just see long streams of endless lights! Definitely got too excited about it but just in awe of the bigness and brightness here – its nothing like any place back home (maybe London x 10).

Ness’s directions and orientation of the city was ridiculously good considering she had only been there 2 days....especially when Pedram’s were so bad and he’d lived there his whole life.

Dropped at the coach station about 11pm by Pedram – definitely could have stayed in Canada longer with everyone. Ness has been so lucky to find that house and make such good friends!
