The last road trip was very successful. I had a great time and spent the whole day recovering from train lag and dehydration. I also unpacked, typed up the journals, and ate a lot of food, with "Murder She Wrote" playing in the background. Guys, I love mail, and my family sends me lots of things here and there to keep me entertained. Tina and my mom sent a little package which was sooooo nice-a little breast cancer awareness Target bracelet-YAY-and the Peyton Place/Return to Peyton Place movie set to keep me entertained (thanks Tina, you are the greatest!) I am so excited ;)
My dad also sent me a really great package with my ski jacket, a Rome book (YAY), an air force fleece blanket for my travels (awesome, and I found a wickedly cute bird pen wrapped up in it), travel speakers, a voice recorder, batteries, and a few other things I haven't unwrapped yet. This was my Christmas package, and there are lots of trinkets to get to.. PRESENTS!
PRESENTS!
. and I don't want to open it all today... I'll open some more tomorrow ;)
When Mary came back today, we talked forever about her trip and caught up on the times. TRUE STORY AND REALLY FUNNY that the night I left Munich, she had gone to the same hostel I had stayed at to meet me as a surprise! AWWWW!!! She got there literally 30 min after I left and ended up meeting Kris and Candice exactly where I left them-in the kitchen eating dinner cause the three of us cooked together. They talked for a bit and then Mary realized they were talking about ME! She called it and they were all so proud. HEHEHEHEHE, how cool is that, guys!
Tomorrow, Mary and I are working on the logistics for our trip starting in 4 days. I need to go to Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday to use up my last day on my Pass, and then we are off on Sunday to London to begin our Scotland, England, Wales, Tour and then Ireland by backpacking. Whew, there is a lot to see before Missy gets here for Christmas! I also get to paint soon too, how fun! Until then, bear with my on this journal thing and pictures fiasco. I promise that you are going to get tons of pics soon, and you will be saying the same thing I did after looking at the first half: "Geez, it all king of looks the same, doesn't it?" But I have everything from the apartment, to street scenes, to traveling pics, and also lot's of self-portraits from the trains and in reflections!

If only by a half hour!
....Only by a half an hour.....That can be a title to a song. I am sure Mary thought that there couldn't be two of you out there? These are the things that make travel so much fun.
