After a long drive from Buenos Aires, we arrived at an almost finalist of the 7 natural wonders of the world- and certainly the best waterfalls we had ever seen!

We got to visit the falls from both the Argentinian and the Brazilian side (Foz de Iguassu), and it was amazing. The falls have several platform you can walk through giving you different perspectives, and the opportunities to get soaked underneath some of them! You can take boat rides that take you as close as you would ever safely get (great fun!), and we also took a helicopter ride over the falls (first time for me in a heli- exciting!).

The little town had a few shops and restaurants but is not really worth hanging around for. There is also a gigantic dam nearby of which we took a tour, it is co-owned by Paraguay Argentina and produces a huge of mind of electricity- enough for the whole of Paraguay AND 65% or Argentina.

On the Brasil side the town is quite a lot bigger and you can see a huge change, language, culture and people are all distinctively different.

We also got a chance to hop over to Paraguay for some cheap electronics shopping, making for a very happy Sam

We also visited the bird park to get up close and personal with our new favourite bird, the Toco Toucan!
