The train arrived back from Aguas Calientes at around 830. Was really cool cos we were met by some bloke from llama path who took us back to our hotel. We dumped our stuff and headed out to find some food. It wasnt a difficult decision, after drinking peruvian lagar all afternoon we felt we fully deserved a decent english beer, so we headed straight to the Cross Keys where we enjoyed a pint. I had mine with scrummy lasagna and ames had a chilli. Then it was bedtime.....we had a lot to do tomorrow!
We woke up early the following day and had simple brekkie in the hostel. We then had a couple of things we had to do. Firstly was the laundry, we´ve only done laundry about half a dozen times since being away and only twice since leaving Paul and Elizabeth in Marietta so it was definately about time. Problem is the laundries out here are all scary. Basically anyone who owns a washing machine has a laundrette sign outside, and most have not so good reputations at getting all your clothes back to you. Well i chose one that looked almost professional and took my chance. Whilst we waited we downloaded our camera memory card and boring stuff like that. Enjoyes a yummy lunch at a cafe we hadnt been to before and collected our washing and went to pack for the jungle (Oh yeah we were going to the jungle, a last minute decision that was in fact so last minute i forgot to write it in the original Cusco log) After that chilled out in internet cafe for couple of hours putting some photos on for all you guys that winge at me about them. Then tried to get some money from a cash machine but the bastard thing crashed nicking my hundred quid. We tried pleading are case with bothe shop and the bank but they wrent having it. Was a big bummer so we went and drowned our sorrows in the pub.....again!!!!! Before having a delicious chinese set menu before bed.
