Drove to Truro, Cape Cod. Was pants day!!!!!!
The road we'd chosen took us ages, was cool to drive through Portland and see where most people in Maine lived......could see why too!!!! Though we prefered the less populated coastline. Decided in a dodgy little cafe in Kittery to drive to Salem......picked up the free map from the public loo and headed off!!!!! Turned out to be an awkward drive but was fun to see Salem......Witch City!!! The whole town overused the theme but it was fun...... Headed tyo see the sights tho and were disappointed to find them all costly......couldnt believe how there'd commercialised it. Eventually found the memorial tho and was cool to recognise the names from when i strudied 'The Crucible' at school.
Then drove until dark... had difficulty finding an open campsite as it was out of season, but still got ripped off by some evil bloke. Was so windy so headed off out. Couldnt understand the area...was nothing there. Finally found Provincetown.......clearly the place to go, was packed.........explored the cool shops and had a yummy Ben and Jerrys ice cream......Had too after all New England is its home...
