Next morning I awoke to raining and cold weather and I think it was probably the first time in about 2/3 weeks that I had to wear jeans and trainers instead of flip flops!
Sao Paulo is a very vibrant city and you can seen why they call it the engine of brazil as its a working city, you'd be forgiven for thinking some streets in the centre resemble New York or London with the tall buildings, etc.
Personally by the time I got to Sao Paulo I was 'done' with cities as sometimes they done really afford you a real insight into a country, it's people and cultures. Nonetheless I found some great sites, such as the museum of football which was more my kind of museum! A visit to the Mercado Municipal was an eye-opener, it's basically a huge indoor market where you can sample an array of fruits, meat and wine!
Having seen most of the main sites I decided to cut short my time in Sao Paulo, in search for some sun and sand, hence ending up in a little beach town called Paraty of which the next post will go into more detail about.
