Left the hotel in Neuchatel on Tuesday morning and walked and took the funicular to the train station. Got the train to Geneva and arrived at the Geneva airport at 9:00 am. Took Easy Jet to London Gatwick and took the train to Victoria Station in London city center. I got a day pass for the Tube and found my way to High Street Kensington station and turned on the GPS to hopefully take me to the hotel. I had no guidebook or map and I thought I knew where to go based on the rudimentary map on the hotel website. GPS battery ran out and I was stumped as to where I was or where the hotel was. Found a nice pub that had free wifi, fired up the notebook, had a beer and found the directions to the hotel. I was about 4 blocks away. Got the room, it was now around 3:30 pm, rested for a bit and then struck out to find a pub for a beer. Found a couple in the area, which was near Kensington Park. Back to the hotel for dinner as they had a Singaporean restaurant and I was ready for a change from the French and Swiss food. The food was great, although there was according to the maitre d' a "problem in the kitchen" and everything was going to be delayed for around 30 minutes. He offered me a glass of wine if I opted to stay. I had nothing else to do, so I took his offer and when the food arrived it was delicious. A beer at the bar and then to bed for my final day of the trip.
