I have been a bit quiet over here in the land of smiles mostly because there is nothing of too much interest going on.  I do a lot of diving here and there and am teaching the occasional course but other then that things are pretty ho hum.  The year is going by pretty quickly and I am really trying to avoid alaska this year.  I will have enough money to stay in Thailand all year if i want but it would be a pretty close call so I am undecided as of now.  I am also looking into working in the red sea for their high season which would be pretty cool. Egypt would be an interesting place to call home even though i have an american passport with a jewish last name.  we will see what happens but as of now, I am completely undecided what I am going to do for the first time in years which is a new feeling.

Im came down to khao lak to try and patch things over and although everyone else in the world could see the outcome, I am a bit of an idiot and gave it a shot anyway.  well she lasted about 4 days down here before it all just blew up in giant thai technicolor fireworks.  it kinda sucks but I am over the drama and to be truthful, the only reason why i may have the freedom of not going to alaska is that my bank account is not being sucked dry by the girlfriend lol.

I have been watching the weather in america and europe with great interest and would just like to give you all my condolences for the arctic blast you are encountering.  its about 35 degrees (C) here everyday which is pretty hot but when you are underwater its not that bad.  I am going to upload a bunch of photos to this entry for you guys to check out.  most of it is diving and me at work....since none of you bastards come to visit me i have to show you in picture form.  That being said, I wish you all a merry xmas and a happy new year!!  In 5 days I will celebrate my 5 year anniversary of being on the road so yay me!!

You should totally check out Egypt......Sharm-el-Sheik is pretty good, Dahab has some pretty awesome diving as well. Life on the Sinai pennisula is kind of like Egypt-lite. It's a lot more relaxed than mainland Egypt.
