well here it is, the 100th blog entry and what a road it has been to get here let me tell you! I wasnt sure if i would stick with writing this thing but its turned into a pretty decent way to not only stay in touch with people but also to keep some memories stored. on a side note, i have found a really cool blog service set up especially for travellers and im thinking about switching over. not sure yet but ill figure it out in the next couple of weeks. i think even if i do switch, ill keep this one updated just for old times sake and the fact that i have 100 posts already on this thing.

As for alaska......well im down to 9 days and i couldnt be happier to get the hell out of here. the summer has been rainy and windy and mostly crappy not to mention the endless daylight has ended and it has begun to get quite dark pretty damn early...not to mention the co-worker situation isnt nearly as fun as it was last year. i know this is not why i come to alaska but having cool people to deal with sure does make the summer go by a little easier. Those of you not in the loop, i will be flying back to chicago for a few weeks to be with the family and just hang out. my grandmother is flying in from miami (not for me but nice coincidence) so it will be good to see some people that ive missed over the last few years as ive travelled. after the 3 weeks in the burbs, its back on the plane and to thailand. a funny side note to this is that the day that i plan on leaving for thailand is the first day of the new airport in bangkok.......ill never see my luggage!!
