just checked the weather report for homer and its a brisk 34 degrees right now. my testicles have hollowed out a nice cavity in my stomach and i dont expect to see a trace of them until around mid august..cya boys. i was cursing my luck when i went on my deept dive to 30 meters (about 100ft) the other day because the water got down into the 70 degree range, way below the mid 80's that im accustomed to. somewhere in this journey i have become one big wuss. i cant exactly pinpoint it but im guessing it was around week #2 out of the last year and a half. then again, how many of you can share your bed with a couple of giant cock roaches and just shrug your shoulders and catch a few winks? i guess wussyness is in the eye of the behohlder.

i have decided to skip out on the singapore side trip for now just because it would take so damn long on a bus and i dont feel like paying the taxes on an international flight right now. i can probably save about the same amount of money on my camera if i cruise around the internet for awhile so ill just have to be patient. really im just hangin out and enjoying my last few days of doing not a god damn thing before getting into work. remember when we were kids and the only time we had to look forward to was summer break and now its all been reversed and flipped and fucked into the only time i dread is summer lol.

its funny, a lot of my friends have financial problems and are not locked into a career at the moment but they all refuse my advice to come to alaska for the summer and get out of debt if nothing else. it seems that the prospects of working some bullshit job in illinois all summer is just too much to resist for many of them. i mean i know alaska is far away but its still in north america for gods sake and is still part of america (barely). the way they make it sound, i have asked them why dont they just go to work in the amazon for the summer. oh well, i suppose some people have created such a rut that its become a hole and now that hole is their home. good luck with that one.
