life is moving at a furious pace here in thailand...well not really but it sure seems that way sometimes. chad and i went on another 2 dives at ko phi phi and the sites were amazing. soo many fish and anenomes and corals. saw some lion fish and a scorpion fish and of course a whole bunch of "nemo's" im pretty sure im gonna continue a little further in the scuba world and get a few more certifications. it cant hurt to have a degree in zoology and a master divers certification i suppose. life is a bit quieter without som around, i swear to god she sounded like an angry dolphin when she laughed. chad says he's glad shes gone but i can tell he missed her LOL....just kidding, im sure he's glad to get rid of her. we came to phuket to visit my american friend and we stayed for about 24 hours and are now just waiting a few minutes before our glorious bus to bangkok. chad's visa is running out and he needs to get his happy ass to the border. on the subject of strange and absurd, i was informed that chad has become a bit homesick after 4 weeks and he's pretty sure he's going back to scenic south carolina. i guess this life isnt for everyone but i just dont see the point myself. not that i dont love my friends and family (disclaimer) but when it comes right down to it, i have to live my life and experience things for myself. i got homesick once when i went to summer camp in third grade but after that i think i did pretty good. of course prison helps....gun towers between you and loved ones seems to kill off a lot of the longings for home. so the way things are looking, chad is going to go and complete his advanced open water certification and then head back to the states to continue life. as for me i do believe im heading to vietnam and china so wish me luck. i may have to say hi to som before i leave though : )
