I had an early morning flight out of BWI at 7 am.  It did not help that I was out with friends drinking and playing Top Golf until 11 pm, Thursday night.  I have not yet packed my bags and thought it would be a bad idea to go to sleep in this drunken state and risk over-sleeping and missing my flight.  Steve joined me on my overnight vigil with chips and a case of Yuengling.  We watched the amazing Big East tournament basketball game between Sryacuse and UConn...6 overtimes!!!  Afterwards, we played some Axis and Allies.  In between my turns to move I would pack.  I hit the road around 4:45 and arrived at BWI one hour later.  At the parking lot, I was lucky enough to catch the shuttle bus right away.  My luck ran out when I ran into a long line at the Delta check in counter.  Either Delta needs to add more check in kiosks or none of the other airlines are flying this morning because the only airline with a check in line was Delta.

I should have checked my ticket more closely because I thought I booked a non-stop flight to Vegas.  It turned out that the flight was a "direct" flight, but the plane did land at Salt Lake City to unload old passengers and load new passengers.  During the 30 minute delay while they cleaned the room, I walked around the airport.  I could not find any eateries that provided a Lenten (meatless) menu, so I got a fruit cup.  There was no meals on this flight and I was getting hungry.

I do not have much planned for this trip to Vegas other than spending time with family and golfing on Sunday.
