Lotus Elise
Wow! It did not take long for me to go through my daily limit on the Blackjack table. Caesar/Harrah should be happy they got their money's worth in the promotional room and show. With some free time on my hands, I decided to walkthrough the Forum shops. Most of the shops deal in high rent fashion, Versace, Gucci etc...not interested. The stores I spent the most time browsing was FAO Schwarz, Field of Dreams and Antiquities. FAO Schwarz had this hugemongous Trojan Horse at its entrance which could not be missed. Field of Dreams is a sports memorbilla boutique. It was fun looking at all the autographed jersey in the display case, but the items were well outside my price range especially after the awful sessions of Blackjack. Antiquities speciallized in Rock 'N' Roll/ Hollywood memoribilla with tons of autographed guitars. The one shop that had moved since the last time I was in the Forum was the Ferrari store. Along with anything with the Ferrari logo, inside the store was a exotic car sales floor. For the average Joe, you had to pay $5 to walk along the edges of the showcase. The store moved to the Winn where you now have to pay $10 to enter...I guess the rent is higher at the Winn. I did see one exotic car in the Caesar's parking garage, Lotus Elise.

Another aspect of the Forum, which captured my attention, was the numerous fountains, statues and ceiling murals which decorated the walkways. One center had a salt water aquarium with some exotic reef fishes. I attempted to take some pictures but the fish would never hold still long enough and all the pictures turned out fuzzy. A fascinating thing with the ceilings along the walkway was that it was portrayed the skay and would constantly change to simulate the cycle of the day from night, dawn, mid-day, dusk and evening. At the end...or is it begining...of the Forum shops was a three story section with more statues, fountains and spiralling escalators. After walking around for awhile, I stopped to eat at Cypress Garden Cafe. DO NOT BOTHER...or at least do not get food from the Chinese food stall. I paid too much for a serving of Kung Po, got rice which was dried up in the container and nearly got sick, later.
