They thought it was real neat that they could sit at the table and play a game while we were moving. We arrived at Tropical Palms RV resort in Kissimmee, Fl. at about 1:00 pm. We showed the Grandson's what needed to be done in order to setup the motor home for camping.
Hunter could not wait to fish but soon found that the pond had a friendly alligator that like to follow him when ever he changed places on the dock. But that did not discourages him he continue to fish but he ask grandpa and grandma to watch the alligator and let him know when he was on the move.
Ryan and Grandma played some ping pong and then Grandma gave her paddle to a girl that was watching Ryan and they played. Ryan said the girl won. After dinner we all went to the pool and the boy swam for awhile. Later Grandpa and the boys played some ping pong. We then had a campfire and made S'mores. I think the boys really like that.
On Monday we rode our bikes to Old Town, as that is the only transportation we had at the campground. The boys had never been and we got them a wrist band so they could ride the rides as often as they wanted. Come to find out there is a place next to Old Town called Fun Spot that has much better rides then Old Town and the wrist band was not good for them. The boys were a bit disappointed. They did ride the GoKarts and Bumper Cars. Ryan and Grandma went into the haunted house. Later that evening we rode out bikes again and went to Denny's for dinner. We all had a good time.
Tuesday was a bit of a wipeout as it rain off and on all day. When it was not raining we were out walking or riding our bikes and the boy went fishing again today. After dinner Ryan went out to play a game of manhunt with some of the boys. Hunter when back to do some fishing and started talking to another guy there that let Hunter use some of his hotdog for bait. Hunter caught at least 5 fish and the guy even taught him how to take out the hook.
Hope to have a campfire again tonight if the rain holds off as this will be our last night at camp.
