As we made our way to Roma, we stopped by Siena and San Gimigiano; we did the following:

- Traveled through the streets of San Gimigiano; looked through the shops surrounding the city
- San Gimigiano was a small city and provided the best views of the Tuscan landscape
- We then traveled to Siena, where we visited the Duomo de Siena. This was my favorite cathedral out of all considering its grandiose design and architecture. It also houses the Piccolomini Library, an extraordinary sight.
- Siena was also a cozy, small city that provided incomparable sights of the Tuscan rolling hills and green mountains. Because Siena is a city built upon a hills and mountains, it is a constant incline walking through the city. The stairs and pathways are exceedingly steep and provided an entertaining terrain to embark upon.
