Day 024: 6 hours, 4.9 kms

There's one more city I need to visit on the way back to Amman: Jerash, the site of another well know Roman ruins. After Petra, I’ve determine to never overpay for a tourist site again here in Jordan, so I might not even visit the site—but I want to visit the town anyways.  Luckily a good bit of it can be seen from the outside, and there’s an impressive gateway at the back end that I can use as a backdrop for a video clip.  There are also some cool ruins outside of the tourist compound that can be explored free of charge.

Inside the city there are a couple steep market streets where I stop to play music for some guys in a cybercafé… I’ve definitely been having no problem finding friendly audiences here in Jordan!
