Here's my packing list. Unlike Glennica's, there's no picture... I need to get to bed soon!

1 pair shoes (worn)
3 sets of ultra light, quickdry clothing (1 worn, 2 packed)
light, waterproof jacket with hood
wide-brimmed hat
Smartwool long-sleeved camping shirt
a small day pack
sleep sack

digital wristwatch
digital camera with charger
tiny flashlight

cable lock/alarm
adapter plug

compressed towel tablet
nail clippers
razor with spare blades
squeezy tubes with shampoo and mouthwash, packed in an awesome "Happy Halloween" ziplock bag (the other option was "Trick or Treat", but the TSA thugs might take it as a threat)
toothbrush, toothpaste and floss
laundry wash wafers

compression bags and packing cubes for clothing, toiletries and electronics
a small tube of gel frosting
googly eyes
money belt with passport, money, etc.
pack of dinosaur playing cards
Castles and Keeps of Scotland, by Frank Roy Fraprie
Nintendo DSi with Chrono Trigger and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Some of the other stuff I can share with Glennica (binoculars and umbrella), and anything I forgot can probably be purchased along the way. :)

Barter with the locals for wine/cheese/food with them!

You'll understand the googly eyes... eventually. And no, Kelly, these are just playing cards with dinosaurs on them. I got them at that awesome rock shop in Nederland. :)

I'm pretty sure this is the latest entry, so I'll comment here. Enjoy your trip! It sounds like you're nice and prepared at least... I hope to hear about the next destination soon!
