Yes, Hoi An is the place where every tourist worth their weight in gold goes to get tailor made fashion at rock bottom prices. Sadly we're worth our weight in lead at this point in time so are still wearing our really tatty backpacker clothes that we set out with 9 months ago. You can probably all tell by the re-occurring wardrobe themes you see in most photos. We are dirty dags and you all love it !
Hoi An is also a pretty little town set on the Thu Bon River not far inland from the Gulf of Vietnam. It has a lovely old town to wander about and some nice little restaurants (some nicer than others). There's a great market to browse and in general is a nice quiet spot after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
Probably wouldn't come back here but worth a look if you ever want to have all those Dolce & Gabana, Gucci etc knockoffs made for a tiny fraction of the cost.
