Anyway, let's start with yesterday, DAY 1. In the morning my parents were complaining to me about wearing something nice for my grandmother, who I see everyday. But the fact that I'm going to her tennis club, and only spending time in the swimming pool, is different to them. Anyway, the two of them went shopping in the town, and I spent the first half of the day writing, and the other half I was doing the opposite of what my parents told me, I watched TV. Then at eleven Nicolas told me to come downstairs and put my bathing suit on. We had this lame argument about Nicolas going into the pool after his tennis lesson, and it lasted until I said that I'd walk down the driveway to see if we got any mail. I walked down, and as every other day of the week, we didn't get any mail. I looked to see if my grandmother was driving in, and as I suspected, she came as I was about to walk into the house.
Anyway, we got to the club, and they said that we didn't register an appointment for my brother, so we had to wait a whole hour by jumping into the pool. Nicolas said he wasn't going to jump in because it was cold, which was the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I kept swimming because I really didn't have anything else to do, but then my grandmother told me that my dad was picking me up early, and the rest of the time I was there, I spent it being impatient. My dad picked me up, and when he did, I told him I didn't want to go to the beach whole day (since I had spent a whole hour in the pool). So I went home, and I found my mom baking cookies, which I had asked her to do the day before. I left upstairs, trying to stop myself from watching TV, and I didn't until the sky started darkening (which I think is sunset, and the agreement was that I can't watch TV from sunrise to sunset). For dinner we had crab cakes, and then this pasta with sauce I didn't like that much, and my mom was going to smack me because I said, "I feel like those orphans from Oliver Twist". After dinner, we didn't have the cookies, because my mom always wanted to try putting the bake in the freezer for 24 before we literally bake it. I left, becoming a member on this site, trying to write this blog, but my parents got this movie from the Antheneum (the Nantucket public library), Casa Blanca, and they wanted all of us to watch it. It was good I guess, but it made me think of the Sound of Music, and how the Germans were the complete opposite.
Anyway, at the end of the movie, it had to be the coldest night ever in Nantucket. (I had my long pajama pants, my sweater, and I had a comforter. It was only warm when all of the windows and doors were closed.)
I wanted to write this, but when I tried, there was this "find link" thing coming up, and I fell asleep. Now, here I am in the morning writing this.
Now has my life changed? I don't know... This is why I started a blog, to see if I did.
