Where I stayed
We stopped to have a snack at a little spot called The Teahouse; put it on your list of must-visit places should you be wandering Canyon Road. Hundreds of different teas from which to choose and as if that wasn't enough, we also indulged and split a piece of homemade apple pie with hand-whipped cream and
cinnamon ice cream oh my, oh my was it ever good! We sat in the shade of a lovely tree in their courtyard and sipped our tea and enjoyed every bite of the pie – fabulous.
Feeling just a tad bit guilty and needing to walk off the pie, we returned to the museum to purchase the book Nancy had spotted yesterday and then visited the library so George could pick up another novel. One last chore to prepare for our departure in the morning, grocery shopping and then we called it a day.
Our plan had been to visit Bandelier National Monument today but Nancy had not had enough of Canyon Road so we revisited, more photography on this gorgeous day and more art. It was nice to see a small group of artists set up on one of the corners painting a particularly picturesque adobe house. The arts are alive and well in Santa Fe.
