Off to Auckland to start our hiking adventure! We have grand plans to start hiking in Tongariro National Park the same day that we arrive in New Zealand; somehow hoping that we will get a good sleep in our economy seats on Air New Zealand. We'll be sending out updates of our travels every week or so. The weather on leaving Calgary is pretty decent, only minus 5 degrees or so!
