Qatar is a small country, trap between the sea and Saudi, which is only less than two hour drive from Doha. As a single girl, I could not drive to Dubai by myself or with any male companion, as it is forbidden to drive through Saudi; the wrong gender!

To spend a long holiday only in Doha could drive me insane, thus whenever I have the opportunity to leave the country, I will. This time it has to be outside Arabia, as all around this area will celebrate the Ied festival. Sri Lanka will be the best, easiest, and "nearest destination", not to mention its interesting culture...

Although departure time to Colombo-Sri Lanka is at 23.50, but we decided to come to the airport early, and try to avoid the madness of the airport. Doha holiday season is always crazy. In the airport, departure lounge was a chaos.... Everybody was there. In fact we met few people we know from the office. Five hour flight and we are in Sri Lanka
