Having able to travel as I want to is a really exiting, and having a good companion is a luxury that I could never resist. Out of a blue a colleague suggested to have a little holiday break for the Ied holiday, out from Qatar to any place of my choice. Certainly, I would never miss this opportunity. The question is where to go?

Arabian countries was always in my mind, but I think this is not a good idea to travel around this area during Ied holiday, as everybody will be on holiday as well, thus my choice is to go somewhere neutral. India is an option, but to get there I will need a visa, and a bit troublesome, the next choice is Sri Lanka, which could be as interesting as India.

We planned everything well in advance I guess, the only thing that makes me feel guilty is that I am not going home instead
