Arrive in Singapore was like back to the civilization, although I come from Indonesia, just another developing country, but to live in qatar is like to live in prison. I need to get back in touch with all the hassle dazzle of city life. Singapore was just like what I had expected. The airport was as usual, not really represent the city yet, but everything I need to travel was there, communication card, internet access, as well as superb public transportation.
First thing first, contact my sister to send emails to the lodging places where we want to go as these I could not find the time to contact them. Then buy a new Singapore sim card, to get in touch with those who helped me fixing this trip.
Dump my travel bags in a friend's office and move around by myself is the next thing I had to do. However, to get to her office was not easy as I need to walk more than 2 km from CityHall to our meeting point; and I already tired of carrying my backpack as well as may rucksack. What make things worse is that that the weather was so warm and humid.
Second mission was to buy a PDA keyboard, replacing my old and broken keyboard, as I could not get any of these gadgets in Doha. if there is one, definitely it will not be compatible with my type of PDA. Although I manage to buy one, but I could not synchronize it with my PDA, as they would not give me the services. I think these are things I missed about my own country; people down there will give these services voluntarily. Again, I have to admit this is already so much better than in the Middle East.
I went back to my friend office to collect my bag and wait for my train to go to KL later that night. To my surprise her boss wants to meet me and to my surprise he was keen to hire me to join the company. Well, I think my middle east experience given me some new opportunity as they are looking for somebody with my qualifications. Sad to say I am not looking for a job now, but maybe yes later this year.
As I need to give my back a break, I was a bit disappointed when she told me that she only bought me a second class train ticket; but it turns out to be a terrific couch, as it's a sleeping couch. The worst part was only there is some body snoring and it's louder than the sound of the train and it went on all night long.

Komen gw.....
Lagian kok dapet klas 2 sih?
