Finally arrive in Stockholm.... Early September was the beginning of autumn, the weather was not as cold yet, but cold enough compare to where I come from. The first thing I have to do was going to company who organize the students' accommodation. Luckily I had been in Stockholm before, which make a little more familiar to the situation and have the ability of moving around by myself cheaper, compare to using taxi, which could cost me another fortune.
The location of my dorm is in Flemingsberg, a place outside of Stockholm, but still within the greater Stockholm area. The building itself was an apartment, turns to be a dorm. Thus the layout was not really like a dorm but consist of small apartments with the bigger unit of a flat is the big unit of dorm consist of 5 rooms with it's own bathroom but has a common kitchen to share.
As an architect, room layout has always interest me, and I always try to analyze and compare layouts. 24 sq. m. with its own window and individual the bathroom is a luxury compare to a dorm I used to live in Bandung more than 15 years ago .
