To resume yesterdays original plan today we went to Washington DC, passing the Botanical Gardens along the way.
 
The agenda was to visit Penn Station and walk along the Mall, what I didn't know was that the Mall was so long and such a huge place to cover.  It took us the whole afternoon, until almost dark to finish just half of the Mall, and got lost on the way back to the parking building, which ended up at The White House area.
