Woke up fairly early at around 4am as I've got a call from my office, asking silly questions, and before 6am another call from Doha, but this time it was cut off with no particular reason.... I think the connection between USA and the Middle East has been closed. Reception on my mobile phone was excellent but no more calls for my Doha Mobile number, not even able to receive any local (US) numbers....
Poor Americans, their government isolate their citizens from the outside world with their paranoid; good thing that email can still get you through!
The plan was to leave home for Boston at 8am, but as we talked and talked and ended up 2 hours behind schedule.
We drove to Boston along route 95 all the way to Philadelphia and got a bit lost at the junction between route 95 and 295 before we found route 95 again
Stopped for a while only, to have a break and this time I take over the driving all the way to Boston. Arrived at around 6.0pm and Hank had already set up a dinner date with his friends in an old restaurant, the Union Oyster House Restaurant - they said it is the oldest restaurant in the US that still exists with only 3 times changing ownership.
I was previously surprised with myself that I had no jetlag but at last the jetlag caught up with me, as I could not keep my eyes open during the whole evening. I went to bed straight away after the meal, and could not help my self....

View of New York from the distance
. Managed to get into New York thru George Washington Tunnel and drove through before we had our first stop somewhere on the rest area slightly after New York.
