And hello to you too. At the moment I am sacrificing my Asian Business Practice class to write emails and my travelogue, so I expect that everyone greatly appreciates my huge sacrifice, for Im missing out on such an interesting highly enjoyable class.. eh, not really. Actually it`s one of the most boring classes I`ve ever gone to, and I can honestly say I`ve learnt nothing in that class. Same goes with Japanese literature, my other ultimate boredom class. Oh well, at least you see fruits of my efforts in those classes as letters to my family, boyfriend and so on :D

So, as the subject line suggests, I went shopping in Osaka on Wednesday with Josefine and my Japanese speaking partner, Tomoko. I finally had some luck with shopping for various things. First of all, I found the coolest boots ever. They`re knee-high, have a a bit of a heel and the color is really nice, something like a golden cat. Anyways, the funniest thing happened with the price. Originally, the price was no more than sweet 8900 yen, which is around 65 euros and a bit more in dollars. Well, the had a 500 yen discount going on, so the price came down to 62 euros. I really liked them so I said yeah, the hell with it, you only live once. At the counter the price was 6750 yen, apparently due to the mistake made by the sales person. Obviously I didn`t say a word, and so, I left the shop with my new boots worth of 62 euros, only paying 42 euros for them. Heh, I doubt he`ll be the employee of the year :D

Other things I bought included a bit warmer white jacket, new jeans (finally!) and a pair of earrings. I was happy to find new jeans, as my old pairs are becoming vintage jeans. That is to say that they have holes in the places not suitable for public venues, so I can`t really wear them anymore. Anyways, the other things were actually pretty cheap, it`s not like you can find jeans for 21 euros in Finland.

Anyways, we went to the so called American Village in Osaka, surprisingly many black people there. It didn`t seem like such a friendly neighbourhood though, and my Japanese friend Tomoko said that at night it is indeed not a friendly neighbourhood. The rest of the day Josefine was desperately trying to find colored contact lenses, and we also went to some used CD shops. Osaka wa meccha tanoshikatta, Osaka was fun ;) We also took some new purikura.

Yesterday, instead of doing homework, me, Jose, Tofu (or actually he`s real name is Wayne), and William went to karaoke. Me and Josefine went back to the 90s with such classics as "Barbie girl" and "Dub-i-dub." Now I shall get back to surfing the internet. This weekend I guess I`ll have to sacrifice myself at the altar of studying, since there`s a lot of Japanese grammar to get sorted in my head. Check out some pictures from Osaka! :)
