Well he magic has come to an end...Mylene and the kids are on their way to home and I am waiting for my flight.  There were sad faces and tears all around except for Mia who was more concerned about her mini-map of Athens.  That is until she realized I wouldn't be coming with them on the airplane, then the waterworks began.  I hope the next few months go quickly.

I won't be able to contribute after departing Athens, so although the journey continues, the blog must end.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Sad Departure
The story of your departure is a sad one. It brought tears to my eyes - who am I kidding, we all know the faucet couldn't be controlled! Mia's priceless, very funny.
It sounds like this was the trip of a lifetime, I guess some things really do happen for a reason and you'll all be stronger for having lived through this experience of ups and downs. I wish you a safe rest of your journey and the little ones a happy return home.

We can feel how difficult this seperation is for you, Mylene & the children. I want you to know that we're very sensitive to you, we are proud and admire your courage to be serving our country to the highest honour. We know what a big sacrifice it is for your family life. We promisee to take care , love & support them until your safe return home. We'll celebrate that. The ski passes are ready & the skis are waiting for your waxing expertise.
