Bon voyage Sophie!

We had an amazing last day with Sophie yesterday. An early start, and day at our beloved Agya Ergemenou (Green Beach), lunch on the beach, Greek coffees on the beach side terrace on our own...the children had a slushy on the beach while Sof and I chatted. We dropped her off in Mitilini Town at 4:30pm, then did a bit of food dhopping at the "big" Lidl store, bought some fresh mozzarella to make pizza when Daan arrives (Mack's request...in fact, he wants to make it all himself).
We drove home, happy to say, we didn't get lost, Christophe Colomb did a good job Sof! We had fresh pasta, and an escarole salad with the sea air blowing through our house. Mack and I played "rummycube" on the patio when the girls were alseep, and Sof, the moon was gone!
More beach today, what else!
Poor Mack slipped and fell on the bathroom floor, and slammed into the sink with his neck, and smashed his foot. Thank goodness for Traumeel and Arnica, the swelling is down completely (his neck swelled like an orange!)...he's alomst all better already, but it was a very scary moment....we're due for another soak at Eftalou,

I'm glad that Sophie's send-off was special. Poor Mack! You are so brave! We're glad that you're feeling better already. And we hope that the other travellers are wearing earplugs on the day of Daan's arrival. :>) I think you're at TWO sleeps now!! What an exciting countdown ...and reunion to come. All the best. Dear Mack:
I hope you're feeling better in Greece. I bet you're having a really fun time at the beach and I bet the water is really warm. We went to Meech Lake and the water was freezing! I hope you're neck gets better soon!

J'espère que ton petit cou ira mieux , il faut que le un Chritophe Colomb guérisse vite.Bon voyage à Sophie et bon retour à Daan.Oui j'imagine un mini tremblement de terre à l'aéroport lorsque vous allez le voir!Tes oncles Mylène avaient envahi Dorval avec des cris lorsque Virginie est arrivée en 1962, que de beaux souvenirs1
