Believe it or not, we were asked and were able to answer travellers' querries twice today!  Once, on a nutty dirt road on our way to the famous Kremasti bridge...and the other on our way out.  We bought a detailed map, and after putting the children to sleep, Sophie and I map out and plan our adventures for the next day!  We've decided that we could reorganize their route system perfectly with fluo tape on trees and posts...Sometimes, we wished we had dropped bread, tied scarves or tape to be able to find our way back form an adventure!  We're getting much better, not getting lost anymore!  We've nicknamed Mack Christophe Colomb, because if he can get his nose out of his book, he always knows which way is home!

We visited the Olive oil museum in Agia Paraskevi today, and swam on a new beach in the Gulf of Kalonis.  The water is warm like a bath, we love it!  The children played in the sand, and ventured out on their boogie boards.

We stopped to buy fresh peaches (so sweet they taste canned!), tomatoes, cucumber, fresh bread, whole wheat and still warm from the oven, mortadella, cheese, (we had brought butter), a bread knife and a cutting board.  The store owner grew up in Sydney, and was so happy to hear we were Canadians, and that our parents are Armenian, he gave us cups for our drinks, was so friendly, his father gave the children gum...the way to my girls' hearts!

We ate our perfect lunch on the steps of a closed building in the centre of the town square.

We went on to the Olive oil museum, but the 40+ weather was crushing, so we left in search of a beach.  The green sea is breathtaking, really spectacular.  It's really humbling to walk in a village with cobble stone streets, where everyone stops their conversatio as you walk by to say Yasis, even store owners in shops!  Life here is just charming!

Sophie and Katie are going to spend a day on a glass bottom boat, have a bbq on an island, and snorkle.  Mack prefers to wait for daddy to come and do it as a family.  Katie is beaming with pride at having Sophie to herself for the day!

Love to all,
Mylene

Hello!
How is your trip? So your flight wasn't very good or was it? So, I heard your car was ran into. It must be exciting to see you dad. So is the sea gorgeous? Are you wearing water shoes in the water? It's probably a good idea because of the sea urchins. I like my dad throwing me up in the air and into the water. Usually my cousin and I get on our dads' shoulders and try to knock each other off. She always wins. I won once. I always win against Sydney and my cousin Brandon. I call him Brenda. Have a great trip.

PS:
Hi Mylene,
It sounds like you're all having a marvelous time. I'm enjoying reading about your adventures. Have fun & take care.
