Costa Verde and Manual Antonio is PARADISE!!! We fell in love at first sight. We spend our last 6 days relaxing on the beaches and enjoying life. Costa Verde's theme is "More Monkey's than People", and they are right. Each morning, we were greeted by an abundance of white face monkey's'. In the afternoon, the iguana's started to sun bath. By the evening, the resident sloth was out and about.

The hotel is on a cliff and over looks the Pacific. We had a wonderful view of Manual Antonio and the beaches from our room. Strangely enough, we forgot to take pictures of the national park. We were too busy playing.

Qupois and Manual Antonio have many beaches, but the best are within the National Park. They will charge you an entrance fee, but its worth it. The rip tides are extremely strong on the public beaches, and the national park offers some calmer water. Not to mention, less crowds.

The Beach's are surrounded by rainforest's, and with the forest....comes the animals. We decided to keep our beach bag on the beach (without food), only to have it rummage through by a raccoon. So, in the tree it goes. Shortly after (while we are in the water, and helpless) a monkey rummaged through our bag and stole my shoes!!!! Thankfully he was chased off ( by an angry woman ), in the heat of the moment he dropped my shoes in the forest.

I'd recommend the park, just Zip up your bag!.
