Peter and I decided to do a tour, and I would not recommend it. It seemed appealing, mainly due to transportation issues. We now know that: you can take the bus (50cents), rent a guide at the park, and hike the divide for a quarter of the price. Oh well!

We arrived first thing and had a wonderful guided hike with the founders son. In total, we spent 3 hrs learning about the cloud forest and the animals that call it home. After our hike, we visited the humming bird gallery. I've never seen so many humming birds in my life. They literally had hundreds!!! Many of which I recognized from home. They have already made the long journey south. After visiting the forest, I asked myself "Why even migrate north".
It's at this point, that you get shuffled back to your hotel (11am). We decided to ditch our ride and hike the Continental Divide and suspension bridges. The hike is approx 1 hr and worth every step. The view was breathtaking!
