Unfortunately I do not have any photos of Rio Cuatro. It was intended to be a small stop en-route to the south and ended in a cultural adventure. We happened to stumble upon a large religious ceremony for "The Virgin Mary".

The town had an erry, " calm before the storm feeling" . While drinking a few beers, we noticed no cars, people, dogs or any sorts on the street or in the restraunts. Which was strikingly odd for a Sunday afternoon. Where could all 144,000 citizens have gone?

Within the hour the streets were flooded with thousands of civilians and even more statues of "Mary". Every single citizen was on the street worshiping. The young and the old were all Crying, screaming and kissing plastic statues of " The virgin Mary". As the sun began to set, the statues were illuminated and the tradition continued well into the night.
