Before setting out for Argentina we had 2 set plans.
1) Study Spanish
2) Relax and drink plenty of vino.

We committed ourselves for 2 weeks to a full Spanish immersion school in the heart of Buenos Aries. Every
morning we attend class for 3-4 hrs and each afternoon we study and use our Spanish on the streets.

The city itself is huge and holds close to 13 Million people. It is divided into multiple distinct
districts that take weeks to fully explore.

San Telmo is full of charm, personality, cobbled streets and is best know for the tango.

La Boca is all about Futbol. This neighborhood is not always recommended to tourists but of its rough core but itīs a must do. Every weekend hundreds of futbol players (young and old) gather to play in the beat up fields that surround the Boca Jr's stadium.

Recoleta is best know for its lush parks, french architecture and as we found expensive cafe con leche.

After 2 weeks we have nearly done it all. From tango lessons to learning Spanish. In the end we are both anxious to leave the busy city and kick back in the country.

Note: For any travelers reading my site.

The prices in Buenos Aries have increased considerable in the last year, in some cases hotels have doubled.
