Anyone what has spent some time in Kang will know that there is little to do other than relax. Just as I though I had DONE IT ALL we stumbled across a beautiful lodge is the makings. The couple that owns the local butchery also owns a huge farm. It is not yet open to the public but we were able to snag a game ride and sneak peek of what is to come next season.

At 4pm the crew crawled into the back of the pick up and was off for our evening at the farm. The drive there took about 30 mins but is well worth it. Once inside the reserve we spotted a heard of Elands running from the noise of the 4x4. Luckily they were not to smart and continued to run alone the road so we could marvel at there beauty.

Shortly after 3 Giraffe decided to head towards the waterhole. They were however smarted and much shyer towards our presence. What a sight. 40 Elands and 3 Giraffe charging towards the waterhole. Of course we continued to peruse the herd in hopes to capture a few photos to take home.

Before reaching the water hole we stumbled across a heard of Blue Wildebeest just taking a stroll. To my surprise they were very brave. As we approached a few scattered into the bushes while the males stayed behind and snorted at the crew snapping continuous photos of them. We were able to sit and watch then interact (10-15 m away) what a sight.

I have to say, "That was the best 5 bucks I have ever spend" I would recommend anyone that travels through Kang, Stop at the butcher shop and there Lodge (once open)
