The Kang Ultra Stop is located along the Trans-Kalahari Highway and is just south of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Most people that stay in Kang are just passing through (not living here) When I was researching Kang I found little information on the Village or the Lodge. But it is a must do if you are passing by. The Lodge itself is a small family run sanctuary in the middle of the Desert. Everything that you need can be purchased at the ultra shop. There is a small groceries store, restraint, bar, gas bar and nice accommodations. A typical day around here consists of work (of course) and then relaxing at the lodge. But the time we are done the Africa sun is baking the Kalahari and the temperatures are around 36c (by 12noon) so, time to hit the pool to cool off.

It's been long lost. It is in the Botswana LP. Under the Kalahari Des. At least the LP that was published in 99 ish. Check the library.
