7 Months travelling and im back to where I started with a long way to go!

Not just that, but im back in the Mil House - party central and its bound to be trouble!

Loads of people I met in the South of Argentina have made the standard route back to BA, so ive got a whole bunch of amigos to meet up with.

I arrived in BA on a Thursday, which happens to be party night at the hostel. Complete with a DJ, disco balls, cocktails and of course Happy Hour! After a famous BA meal, - massive steak and a bottle of vino - with Clemens, the German Porn Star I met in Salta, then again in Mendoza, we drank wine, ate steak, then returned to the hostel and polished off a few too many Quilmes at the hostel. This guy was connection central and somehow managed to get us on the guest list for Club 69 - One of the biggest and craziest in Buenos Aires.
We paid a fraction of the entry fee and skipped a 30 minute wait and got right amongst the madness.

Its not exactly a gay club, however the vibe is a litte alternative to say the least. A huge stage sits at the front of the dance floor with performances by drag queens and strange folk all night. Champagne was sprayed about in a fashion that cant be mentioned here and the night finished with a stripper, Jenna Jameison style on stage to the delight of everyone in the club.

I got home at 8am, slept until 4pm and started all over again. A big meal, a botttle of vino and of course another club.

Saturday was the night for a club called Opera Bay, and wow, what a great place. The night started with a big party in the hostel and many beers, then at 2 - with the help of Clemens contacts, we were yet again, on the guest list and slipped into the club with a minimal wait and paid a fraction of the entry fee.
The place is unreal and looks like the Sydney Opera House and is almost as classy! There are 4 dance floors, all filled with latino hunneys and the music was tops. It was another late night/early morning and now its Monday and Im absolutely wrecked after a weekend of madness, this was why I was regretting moving back into the Mil House and spending too much time in Buenos Aires.

I have fired up Spanish lessons again, but god help Cecilia - my poor teacher who has to correct 6 months of self taught gramatically incorrect spanish.
It took her a good hour of chatting before she could work out what level I was at and where to start the lessons. She was quiet confused. Good vocab, bad grammar, good use of past and future but many holes in strange places due to lack of lessons and loads of time chatting to locals.

I passed 2 weeks in Buenos Aires (with a friend from Australia/England). We visited a weekend retreat for the folk from BA. Its called Tigre, and is a surprisingly tranquilo riverside oasis. Away from the smoke, pollution and madness of BA.

I visited La Boca and saw a Tango show in the famous Tortoni Restaurant before giving BA the flick and taking an incredibly long bus North to Jujuy to continue my adventures.
