On Saturday we woke up and sightseed all day. I had gotten the flu a few days before we left and it really hit me on Saturday so that was a bummer but I toughed through it. We saw some cool stuff but a couple of the main attractions were closed for the season so that also was a bummer. The main sight in Copenhagen is a mermaid sculpture sitting on a rock but we weren't able to find that which I think was due to a lack of trying.
On Saturday night we went out to another club called Rust to celebrate Sonja's birthday. It was a very fun night. Clubs are interesting here because they don't start to get busy until around midnight or 1:00am and they are open until 5-6am. Sonja had a very fun birthday!
On Sunday our train didn't leave until 8:00pm so we had all day to hang out in the city. We were all pretty tired from the weekend so we walked around a little bit but spent a lot of time in coffee shops and eating lunch. We did see the changing of the guards on Sunday and a place (street) called Christiania. It is one street in Copenhagen that doesn't have any laws. People live there, pay their own taxes, and can do pretty much anything they want.
This trip was lots of fun, but quite expensive. The next trip I have planed is a day trip on this Saturday to Gothenburg, Sweden. The second largest city in Sweden.
