??? ??, 2006
Also I received an email today from my friend Jay who I met in Fiji and is from Milwaukee, but Welsh. He said this:
"a friend got back from a medical elective in australia last week, she
spent 10 days in fiji and went to south sea island, when they were
telling them about the canoes they said please don't do what two guys
did, and kayak across to Bounty Island coz we'll get in trouble!!
awesome! we're still famous a year on ;o)"
I laughed pretty hard when I saw this. You'll have to check my NZ travelpod if you don't know the story from South Sea Island.
That's all for now.
We did the first Warped Show in Baltimore and it's a very different set up. We're there at 8:30AM with doors and volunteers (we don't have any yet) at 11AM. Since we're at the venues all day we get catering. Catering feeds over 600 people on this tour, just to give you an idea of how many people there are. That means bands, crew, and anyone in the tent city (I think over 150 tents). I listened to a lot of the bands today, but I really don't know them so I don't know who I'm standing in line with backstage for food or who I'm listening to. I did see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (they stick out as the oldest people on the tour) and I could hear them from the ONE booth.
