How can I describe last night? Awesome is too small a word. The sky was so amazing. I got out of work at 10:45 and was walking past The Moose (as I have to get home) and saw people looking up in the sky. I figured it was too early (and quite sad) to be drunk and looking up at the sky. Then I realized why. Wisconsin just doesn't come close when it comes to things like this.

Greens and purples all over. There was a strip extending from one end of the horizon to the opposite just pulsing and strobing. It was like a million spirits flying overhead, through the Milky Way, and disappearing over the horizon.
It created backlighting on the trees and mountains that was just amazing. I can't describe it and I have a feeling I'll never see anything like that again. I suppose the two shooting stars I saw last night are minor in comparison.

A smaller accomplishment to note, I drove for the first time two days ago. We needed to get something from the other hotel so I took the Luxmore van. hehe. It reminded me of Big Blue and the crew heading through some campus or into some crazy night. I stuck to the left side and everything was fine. This was my big news for the week, but not after last night.
