Left Toronto in a bundle of nerves. The tiny bit of tears shed by Mom almost made me break down, but we held it together.

This next bit is for those of us who may not travel internationally ... dinner on British Airways was amazing! Roast beef with gravy, scalloped potatoes, & veggies was perfectly accompanied by a feta cheese and red onion salad. The feta was cubed & seasoned, not crumbled; & the red onions were caramelized; all heaped on a bed of arugula. Dessert was caramel cheesecake; bread was whole wheat; & wine was Bordeaux from France - served by the bottle with compliments of BA ... nice!!! - & I drank the whole bottle - 2 servings

Flight was long & uneventful - just what u want in a flight.

Truly My Sister
You are definately MY sister! The culinarian in you is really apparent. You should have become a food critic, I think it should be considered as the next career move.
