Sunday was a very lazy day. We slept late, then just went about shopping a bit in Leeds before the shops closed. Afterwards, we lounged around at Danny's and ordered some "greasy take-out". The next day we would head out.

Arising early and saying our goodbyes, we began our journey westward. We swapped trains in Manchester. We didn't get to see much of Manchester but apparently it rains a lot there; it was raining while we were there, nowhere else. About an hour later, we pulled into the Lime Street train station.

We start roaming around Liverpool looking for a place to stay for a night or two. No luck. We end up on the high street and find a Liverpool Tourist Information shop. Well apparently there isn't a bed and breakfast anywhere in the city centre. We'd have to travel several miles out of the city centre according to the chap. We thank him and continue on our way.

We end up down at the historical docks; they're quite nice. Several photos will atest. We never really figured out where we were going so we just headed towards the towering church. We saw Penny Lane along the way and had lunch at a nice noodle shop. The oldest Chinatown is England is in Liverpool. They have a beautiful archway at the start of it.

In the end, we ended up back near the train station and booked two nights at the Lord Nelson Hotel. Tomorrow, we head to Wales.
